But the burden of maintaining such a large family is very heavy for her. Garvin would wish to become an administrator in future and any help for him and his family would greatly improve their lives.

The little money the mum gets from tilling in people’s gardens is not enough to provide for all these children and now they all lack basic needs and schooling. Fablano wants to be an engineer in the future but it is likely that his dream will be in vain if he does not get help.

Bogere was a street child whose father died of a brain cancer some three years back and we tried to trace where his mother was but could not find her in the area where she had been living. She had divorced her husband and left him with Bogere, so when the father died no one seemed to take care of him, hence forcing him to the streets. We took him to one of our elder members in the church who is now taking care of him but he does not have enough help that can sustain Bogere’s basic needs. Bogere would love to go to school but there is no help and anyone ready to help him would be so appreciated!
