Mangeri lost her husband, who died of AIDS. She is still trying to care for her three children but they are now staying with their aunt since life became hard for Mangeri and she could not support them. When our team had a discussion with Jane, she told the team that she is becoming less able to struggle for her two grandchildren left by her daughter when she died of AIDS. However, Jane earns a living by selling firewood and local alcohol. The money Jane earns from firewood and local alcohol cannot sustain all of them as a family, but Jane’s husband died in 2000 of kidney failure and the situation her family is in is desperate. They need our prayers and support.

Jane is a widow who lost her husband in 2004 due to HIV/AIDS. His death left her with five children, which is a big burden to her since all these children need basic needs and schooling too. Jane farms on a small piece of land which can only produce small amounts of crops for her and the family. But due to other needs and the family situation, she is forced to sell some of her crops in order to meet family needs. When our team of JILM visited Jane, she said that she wants to start some income-generating activity that can help her and the kids go back to school, but she has no capital and she would like for anyone who can sponsor her to come to her rescue.
