Zabina is living with HIV/AIDS. Specioza is a born again Christian woman who loves Jesus Christ very much. She lost her husband 18 years back and now she is earning her living from farming and selling onions and tomatoes. She does all this because she has no help, but, sincerely speaking, at that age she should could be doing some little work at home, not digging gardens and traveling to far places to sell her vegetables.
Since many families in Uganda are extended families, Specioza is also caring for the three young children of her brother and his wife, who died of HIV/AIDS in 2004. They all depend on her and this family needs help because the children are not going to school as they lack both basic needs and scholastic materials. Sarah lost her husband due to HIV/AIDS in 2006 and now she is taking care of three children alone, which is even harder for her since she is weak because she is not getting proper treatment of her HIV/AIDS. Ruth is a widow living with HIV/AIDS. She has 3 children and her husband died in 2006 leaving her with no support or property to inherit since the husband was also a poor man who depended on fishing. Ruth moves around the village selling vegetables in order to raise money for her rent, school fees for the children and for their basic needs. But the money she gets for all that hard work cannot pay for all those needs, which has led to the necessity for two of her children to drop out school. Please help this family.

Rose is a widow who lost her husband nine years back. He died of spinal cord cancer. Now Rose sells fruits such as mangoes, oranges and others in order to earn a living since she has no other support at all. Although she has three children who are married, they are drunkards and they cannot support their mother because any little money they get is put in to drinking of alcohol. Rehema is one of our church members whose husband died in a motor accident in Iganga district.
